THE BUYING ANSWER

Start with a clear definition.

Compare the printed sample with the approved artwork for colour, scale, clarity and material appearance. Identify the substrate and file revision used. A print on a different fabric may help discussion but should not silently become the approval basis for the final product.

The decision behind the detail.

A satisfactory flat print still needs review in the finished panel arrangement. Keep print approval separate from garment or bandana placement approval.

PREPARE ONLY WHAT IS RELEVANT

Three details to bring.

Print sample
Record the substrate and submission identifier.
Artwork version
Name the file and intended scale.
Review comments
Describe colour, clarity or layout changes requested.

Check together

  • Check sample and production material references match.
  • Record the chosen printed version.
  • Review the print again on the assembled product.
