CAT TREES / SAMPLING
How to request cat tree samples.
Request cat tree samples with one model brief: purpose, revision record and quote link. Sample terms confirmed per project.

THE SHORT ANSWER
Request cat tree samples against one written model brief: overall size, each component material, finish, and what the sample must prove. Ask what the sample includes, how revisions are recorded, and how the approved version links to the quotation. Sample charges, timing and quantity are confirmed per project—do not treat a styled photograph as the production standard.
Write the model before you ask for a sample
Name the development direction or drawing, overall dimensions, the material of each base, post, platform and covering, the finish, and the quantity of samples. State what the sample must answer: fit of parts, covering look, hardware, packing method or assembly clarity. A photograph alone does not define those checks.
Ask what the sample will include
Confirm whether the sample is a complete set, a partial mock-up or a material board. Ask how posts, platforms and coverings are finished on the sample versus the intended batch, and whether packing protection is demonstrated. Record the answers next to the brief so the quotation later refers to the same scope.
Agree how revisions are recorded
Sampling often needs a second pass. Ask how changes are written down, which revision becomes the buying standard, and how that revision is referenced on the order. Keep photographs of the approved unit with the written notes; verbal “looks fine” comments are easy to lose when production starts.
Link the approved sample to the quotation
The quotation should name the same model brief and the approved sample revision. If carton data, hardware or labels were still open during sampling, mark them as open on both the sample record and the quote. Sample charges, preparation timing and how many units you receive are confirmed per project.
Use worksheets so nothing is implied
A sample request sheet, complete-set check and carton notes keep factory and trading-company conversations aligned. PRETTY has its own factory and a trading company for export coordination; ask which party handles sampling communication and which issues the commercial documents for your order.
